CycleMasters B.V. cares about your privacy. We only process data that we need to (improve) our services and treat the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and its services CycleMasters B.V.. The effective date for the validity of these terms and conditions is 09/02/2022, with the publication of a new version, the validity of all previous versions expires. Web shop software

WooCommerce

Our online store is developed with software from WooCommerce. Personal data that you provide to us for our services are shared with this party. WooCommerce has access to your data to provide us (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. WooCommerce is, based on the agreement we have made with them, obliged to take appropriate security measures. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. WooCommerce uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software, no personal data is collected and/or stored. WooCommerce reserves the right to share collected data within its own group of companies to further improve services.

WooCommerce hosting

Our online store is developed with software from WooCommerce, we have chosen Kinsta for our web hosting. Personal data you provide for our services will be shared with this party. Kinsta has access to your data to provide us (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. Kinsta is obligated, based on the agreement we have with them, to take appropriate security measures. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Regular backups are made to prevent loss of data.


Webhosting
Kinsta

We purchase web hosting and email services from Kinsta. Kinsta processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata about the use of the services. This is not personal data. Kinsta has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Under the terms of the agreement, Kinsta is obliged to maintain confidentiality.


Email and mailing lists
AutoPilot

Our website uses AutoPilot, a third-party company that handles the email traffic coming from our website and the sending of any newsletters. All confirmation emails you receive from our website and web forms are sent through AutoPilot’s servers. AutoPilot will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email sent automatically through our website, you will see the “unsubscribe” link. If you click on this, you will no longer receive email from our website. This can seriously reduce the functionality of our website! Your personal data is stored securely by AutoPilot. AutoPilot uses cookies and other Internet technologies that provide insight into whether e-mails are opened and read. AutoPilot reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, as part of this, to share information with third parties.

Gmail

We use the services of Gmail for our regular business e-mail traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent abuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Gmail has no access to our mailbox, and we treat all our e-mail traffic confidentially.


Payment processors
Pay.nl

For handling (part of) the payments in our store, we use the payment service provider Pay.nl. Pay.nl processes your name, address and city details and your payment information such as your bank account or credit card number. Pay.nl has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Pay.nl reserves the right to use your data to further improve services and in this context (anonymized) data to share with third parties. Pay.nl shares in the case of an application for a deferred payment (credit facility) personal data and order data with post-payment service providers. All the above guarantees regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Pay.nl ‘s services for which it engages third parties. Pay.nl not retain your data longer than permitted by law.

Stripe

In order to process (part of) the payments in our web shop, we use the platform of Stripe. Stripe processes your name, address and place of residence information and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Stripe has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Stripe reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, as part of this, to share (anonymized) data with third parties. In the case of an application for a deferred payment (credit facility), Stripe shares personal data and information relating to your financial position with credit rating agencies. All of the above safeguards regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Stripe’s services for which they engage third parties. Stripe will not retain your data for longer than permitted under the statutory time limits.

WebwinkelKeur

We collect reviews through the platform of WebwinkelKeur. If you leave a review through WebwinkelKeur you are required to provide a name and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this information with us, so we can link the review to your order. WebwinkelKeur also publishes your name on their own website. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to explain your review. In the event that we invite you to leave a review, we share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur. They use this information only for the purpose of inviting you to leave a review. WebwinkelKeur has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Shipping and Logistics
PostNL

When you place an order with us, it is our job to get your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL to carry out the deliveries. It is therefore necessary for us to share your name, address and place of residence data with PostNL. PostNL will only use this data for the performance of the agreement. If PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also make your data available to these parties.

DHL

When you place an order with us, it is our job to get your package delivered to you. We use the services of DHL to perform the deliveries. It is therefore necessary for us to share your name, address and place of residence with DHL. DHL will only use this data for the execution of the contract. In case DHL uses subcontractors, DHL will also provide your data to these parties.

GLS

When you place an order with us, it is our job to get your package delivered to you. We use the services of GLS to perform the deliveries. It is therefore necessary for us to share your name, address and residence details with GLS. GLS only uses this data for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event that GLS engages subcontractors, GLS will also make your data available to these parties.


Invoicing and bookkeeping
Exact Online

To keep our records and accounts, we use the services of Exact Online. We share your name, address and residence details and details regarding your order. These details are used for the administration of sales invoices. Your personal data is transmitted and stored in a protected manner. Exact Online is bound to secrecy and will treat your data confidentially. Exact Online will not use your personal data for any purpose other than those described above.

You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation at the e-mail address we have on record that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.

You always have the right to have the data we process, or have processed, which relate to your person or can be traced back to that person, carried out by another party. You can make a request to this effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days.
